Ahh…the joys of homeownership/homesellership

Anyone seen “Arsenic and Old Lace?” I’m thinking that “Teddy Roosevelt” has been digging locks for the Panama Canal in our old house’s basement.

    1. The inspection which the buyer had done (typical process) found that the lateral sewer pipe was cracked in several places. We agreed to replace it in exchange for them doing all of the nit picky small items.
The house is 76 years old and I suspect that pipe may have been an original.

        1. I’ll have to write a blog post on how all of this new/old house stuff has all settled (Providentially, no doubt) into place so nicely.

Plus, we just want to move on and only own one house. Nor was there a huge demand in our part of town so we really didn’t have too much wiggle room to push back.

I would like to invite you to leave a reply. Thank you!
