The nice thing that seems to be common with these perfect moments when they happen is that they have come along without a huge cash money output.
Earlier this spring, Bubba and I went camping. It was the first time for both of us so we teamed up with good friends who are camping pros. I was really clueless on what to do. But one of the more memorable events was taking a hike while there.
This past Saturday, I took Bubba and Peanut to Castlewood State Park for a short hike of about 1.5 miles. We had gone once before in August. The trail goes immediately uphill on a bunch of rocks from the trailhead and the gradually winds its way down to the creek you see below. The they proceeded to throw rocks into the creek. They probably would’ve been happy doing that all day! Ergo, cheap to me but priceless fun for them!
